William Micka, MD

AllergyMD is William Micka’s patient-reference library. He is a board-certified allergist-immunologist in Springfield, Missouri.

William completed a biology degree at Saint Louis University, then his M.D. at Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 2003. He did three years of internal medicine residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital / Washington University School of Medicine, worked a year as a hospitalist at Barnes, and began a two-year fellowship in allergy and immunology at Washington University in 2007. He finished fellowship in June 2009.

After training he moved with his family from Saint Louis to the Springfield, Missouri area (Nixa) and has practiced allergy and immunology there since. He is certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI), the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI), and Alpha Omega Alpha.

He is married and has two children. In free time he likes hiking, fishing, camping, sailing, and photography.
